The BlueBay Grand Esmeralda Resort in Riviera Maya has been the second hotel/resort in Quintana Roo that I have been more than once! It may not be the best resort in Mexico, but it is still Mexico and you are sure to eat well! :)

If you like privacy very much, it is better to book a hotel in Playa Mujeres, because the distance from the city is perfect and ideal for an intimate vacation.
If you are a water sports lover you have to book about 4 months before coming to the city to get excellent discounts
Hotels in Cancun has good promotions and discounts, however I advise you to also see reservations stay for different days to escape to nearby places and stay, I recommend hotels in holbox
